Benefits of Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme
- The target is to double farmers' income by 2022.
- The first installment will be put in the farmers' accounts by the 31st of next month.
- The government has announced to increase the MSP cost of crops by one and a half times.
- Under the approval of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana), a farmer with land up to 2 hectares will get 6 thousand rupees every year.
- The money will be deposited in the farmers' account in 3 installments.
- This will benefit 12 crore farmers of the country.
- From 1 December 2018, the scheme will be implemented across the country.
- An allocation of Rs 75,000 crore has been made for the Kisan Nidhi.

- The benefit of this scheme will be given to such farmers, who have only 1 acre of land including minor children under 18 years of age and husband and wife.
- Aadhar card is not necessary for the first installment. But after this the Aadhar card will have to be submitted compulsorily.
- After February 1, the owner of the land will not get the benefit of this scheme for the next 5 years.
- But if a person becomes the owner from the inherited land, then he will get the benefit.
- The benefit of the scheme will be given to the farmers involved in the 2015-16 farmers' census.
- Former or present constitutional post holders, current or former ministers, mayors or district panchayat presidents, officers in the central or state government and farmers getting more than 10 thousand pension will not get the benefit.
- Along with this, professionals, doctors, engineers, CAs, architects, who do agriculture also, will not get the benefit of this scheme.
Eligibility for Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana (pm kisan yojana) includes such families which include spouses and minor children up to the age of 18 years, and all of them collectively cultivate land up to two hectares i.e. 5 acres.
- It said that the people whose name will be found in the land records till 1 February 2019, they will be entitled to get the benefit of this PM Kisan Yojana.
- Financial assistance of Rs. 6 thousand per year to all the small and marginal farmers of the country under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
- Only those farmers who have land of 2 hectares or less can avail this government Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
- The funds given under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme will be sent directly to the bank account of the farmers.
- The amount received under this scheme will be given to the farmers in three installments of 2-2 thousand rupees.
- The benefit of this government scheme of the government will be given to 12 crore applied and marginal farmers of the country.
- The benefit of PM Kisan Yojana will be provided only to such farmers. Those whose name will be agricultural land.
- Along with this, the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be provided to such farmers. Those whose name will be included in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana list.
- An amount of ₹ 6000 will be provided in 3 installments to all eligible farmers.
- The first installment to be received under PM Kisan Yojana will be sent to the bank accounts of eligible farmers before 31 March 2019.
- This scheme is applicable across the country from December 1, 2018.
- All small, small and marginal farmers can get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
Documents required for Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
- Database owner's name, gender,
- Social Classification (SC / ST),
- Aadhaar number, bank account number and mobile number etc. will be included.
- Imitation of measles Khatauni of agricultural land.
- Jan Dhan bank account number, Aadhaar and mobile number will help in identifying eligible beneficiaries and ineligible claimants
